Event Rules & Regulation (KIDC15)

1.1 Participants who completed registration agreed to abide by the rules and regulations of the event Kedah International Duathlon Challenge 2015.
1.2 Once the registration is being processed, there will be no refund for those who fail to show up for the race and/or withdraw from it.
1.3 The race registration will only confirm when full payment of the entry fee has been made.
1.4 Any protest against another participant or any violation in the event shall be submitted in writing to the Organizer within one hour of finish time of the participant.
1.5 The Organizer reserves the right to use any photographs or recordings of the participants for any commercial or advertising purposes without prior notice.
1.6 The Race Director/Organizing Committee decision is final. 
1.7 All participants must ensure that their race numbers are clearly visible.
1.8 All participants must follow the designated route and any short-cutting of the route may result disqualification.
1.9 Refusing to follow the rules and regulations and /or instructions given by the Organizer and/or Race Officials may result disqualification.
1.10 Participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and for the safety of others.
1.11 All participants are allowed to change the name of participants name with 3 days notice to the Organizer.

2.1 All runners must ensure that their race numbers are clearly visible at all times.
2.2 Support vehicles or pacers are not allowed.
2.3 The use of personal audio or music devices that would impede hearing are not allowed.

3.1 Only mountain bike with 26”, 27.5” and 29” wheel are allowed for competition. Cyclo-cross bikes are not allowed. Drop handlebars and aero bars are not allowed. 
3.2 All cyclists must wear a helmet during the entire cycling course. Any cyclist seen riding without a helmet will result disqualification. The helmet must be securely fastened before leaving the transition area.
3.3 Participants shall complete the entire event with the same bike. Changing of bikes is not allowed.
3.4 Support crews or vehicles are not allowed. Any outside assistance during the competition may result to disqualification (except medical aid). Assistance is allowed from another participants competing in same event.
3.5 The use of personal audio or music devices that would impede hearing are not allowed.
3.6 All cyclists must ensure that their race numbers are clearly visible at all times.
3.7 Cyclist is not permitted to block other cyclists.
3.8 Drafting is allowed

4.1 Each relay team must consist of 2 participants/team.
4.2 Relay disciplines are non-transferable among the team members and is not replaceable by another person.
4.3 For the Mixed Relay Team, each team must consist of at least one member of the opposite sex.
4.4 The Relay Team participant will be provided with wristband and must be worn by runner (1st. Run) then will be passed to cyclist (Cycling) and back to runner (2nd. Run)
4.5 All the Relay Team cyclists and runners are required to wait at a designated area to receive the wristband from their team members before entering the transition area. 

5.1 All bicycles racks are numbered according to the race numbers of every participant. 
5.2 All participants are required to place their bicycles at the designated bicycle rack.
5.3 All participant belonging need to place properly and avoid blocking participants movement.
5.4 Participants must not impede the progress of other participants in the transition area.
5.5 Cycling is not permitted in the Transition Area.
